Tours in Uzbekistan - reviews and impressions
Uzbekistan is a country with a rich historical past, grandiose architectural structures, magnificent natural landscapes and delicious cuisine. Every year, thousands of tourists buy tours to Uzbekistan in order to taste all the delights of an oriental tale. Today we will consider the reviews and impressions of tourists from different countries about Uzbekistan.
And so let's get started, this is what network user Anna Shukri writes about visiting Uzbekistan:
“I have long wanted to share my impressions of this amazing country, which, although it is located near us, remains unique and unusual. To be honest, in our country, the tourist destination in this country was not very popular, until the last I doubted whether I should go or not, I was most scared of the negative reviews about the service and the poor attitude towards tourists, but despite this, my love for the East took up.
As a result, I never regretted that I chose a trip to Uzbekistan. The country greeted me warmly and joyfully, with magnificent architectural sights, Uzbek hospitality and, what is important, an acceptable pricing policy. As for the latter, in Uzbekistan, lunch / dinner in a cafe, as well as a taxi in the city is much cheaper than in our country.
As a tourist, I was most interested in historical tours of Samarkand - this was my dream. In particular, take a look at the popular “blue” mosque, which is called Bibi-Khanum, named after the wife of the great ruler A. Temur. If you pay from above, you can climb the minaret itself and you will see a mosque from above, believe me, this is an indescribable feeling when you look at all this splendor from a height.
I also visited Bukhara, whose age is about 2500 years old and the city is an open-air museum. Here I visited such objects as the Ark fortress, the mausoleum of the Samanids, as well as a number of beautiful mosques. Most of all I liked walking along such sights as Lyabi House. Right next to the pond is an oriental-style restaurant, the whole place is very picturesque.
I noticed that many residents in the cities of Uzbekistan wear national clothes, which once again reflects the flavor of Uzbekistan. I would like to return there again and visit the capital of the republic - Tashkent. In my opinion, Uzbekistan will not leave indifferent any tourist, especially those who are in love with ancient oriental culture.”
A user of Aleksandr Lezhnin from Khabarovsk shared her impressions of Khiva, who noted the incredible beauty of the ancient city, this is what she writes on her page:
“Khiva is an authentic city with ancient history, whose age reaches several millennia. If you are going to Uzbekistan, then be sure to visit this incredible beautiful city, believe me there is something to see. Once in the city, he immediately captures you in his arms and does not let go throughout the journey. Here you will find narrow streets, beautiful minarets and madrassas, ancient buildings, a huge souvenir row.
I recommend visiting Khiva in the middle of spring or autumn, when the city is not so hot or cold. To fully enjoy the history of the city, you need to find a good guide who will guide you through all the interesting places in Khiva. You can easily book a place of residence in the city through special services, as the hotels of Uzbekistan are distinguished by their reasonable prices and high level of service. I want to warn you that it is better to visit Khiva during the tourist season, since most places are closed in winter.”
Despite the fact that in winter many facilities in winter may not be available, in Uzbekistan you can have a great winter vacation, as there are a lot of winter tourist sites in the country. About one such vacation, says a tourist from Russia, who visited the country in the winter season:
“We went to Uzbekistan in the winter, decided to visit the highlands of the country, namely, we visited Chimgan, Beldersay, and drove to the Charvak reservoir. The mountainous area struck us with its incredible beauty, clean air. We enjoyed it being in the mountains for several days. There was a lot of fun in Chimgan, we rented skis and a snowboard, someone took a sled. There were also inflatable mattresses on which they rolled down the hills. In addition, I rode a horse.
In Beldersay, I liked the atmosphere most of all, it is much calmer and quieter there, but there is less entertainment, respectively. Those who like to ski are a great place, since there is a beautiful trail and cable car, modern comfortable cottages are built. So if you decide to visit Uzbekistan in the winter, I recommend visiting the highlands.”
