The wonderful forest of Uzbekistan or the protected zone Sukok

Sukok is a small village located in the Tashkent region. This place is famous for its wonderful nature reserve, where there are many trees and an unparalleled view of the mountains. I have seen many beautiful places in Uzbekistan, but I would never have thought that we have a forest!

Early, autumn morning, we gathered a small company and hit the road. An hour and a half and now we are at the gate of the Sukok preserve. The beginning of the route was something unforgettable - the range of high, coniferous groves. Huge trees that are already hundreds of years stretching towards the clouds. Very mysterious and fabulous atmosphere filled this area. We walked along the trees, sang songs and were in a great mood. The guys found grapes neatly planted here - a treat for tired tourists.

Next, we continued the route to the singing caves. They were called so because of the spring, the sound of which echoed in the caves. A couple of photos and we decided to climb the snow-capped peaks and finally see the magnificence of the reserve. A little further, upwards and in front of us was a picture of high cliffs, and below was a harmoniously planted forest, the village itself was visible, we had another hour of difficult journey ahead. We were getting higher, almost all exhausted, but the efforts were not in vain.

When we reached the top of the ridge, we made a small stop, took out sandwiches and began to feed ourselves. The weather here is harsh, especially in the autumn, around the mud, slippery, blowing strong cold wind and sometimes snowing. After a short halt we reached the top of the mountain Shakhkurgan, 2025 meters above sea level. After a couple of photos, we began to quickly descend, as it was already late and slowly began to darken.

For each adventure seeker, such trips are special because of the good company of friends, the clear mountain air and the amazing view. Go to the mountains with us.
